A per-refugee health tariff — and an untagged hotel caseload in A&E.
Integrated Care Boards receive £2,600 per resettled refugee in 2026–27 from the Home Office, on proof of GP registration. That is the official, receipted line. The larger cost is untagged: people in hotels using A&E, maternity, mental health and interpreters, which trusts rarely record by immigration status. AsylumStats’ August 2026 rebuild of the true asylum bill (~£8.0bn) puts NHS, DWP and DfE in the un-audited remainder. Trusts also commission refugee-health NGOs. They do not vote. They invoice.
The Authority will make a per capita payment of £2,600 for each Refugee supported by a Recipient.
