Carla Denyer

Green Party leadership · Co-leader 2021–2025; MP

In one sentence

Open-borders party whose councils now move to block Home Office raids.

Greens voted against NABA, IMA and Rwanda. Their immigration policy is the most expansionist of any Westminster party: safe-and-legal routes for essentially anyone who wants them, no Rwanda, no IMA, ECHR as a floor. After the May 2026 locals they run a 'green crescent' of London boroughs — Southwark, Haringey, Hackney, Lewisham, Lambeth, Waltham Forest. In July 2026 Lewisham moved to ban staff cooperation with Home Office immigration raids. That is not protest. It is the local state refusing to help remove people who have no right to be here.

A Green government would create safe and legal routes and end the hostile environment.
